Nice flat trail with some friendly wildlife spottings. Didn’t do the whole thing because it was on the easy side and I got bored. Would be amazing for easy biking.

Good easy trail for a long run.

I started at the Mineral Wells Trailhead and walked to the State Park. I was dismayed at how much trash was along the trail. I was also disappointed that so many people who live and work along the trail leave their dogs off leash and let them charge at people. One dog ran into traffic (near the State Park) and was almost hit by a car because it was aggressively barking at my dogs, which were on leash. It would be such a beautiful trail if people cared about the area they lived in and picked up after themselves and respected others enough to keep their dogs secure in backyards and places of business.

Hiked the 11 miles from the east end in Weatherford to Garner. Wide and very well maintained. Path was flat and not really much elevation change, so makes for an easy hike/walk.

Long and flat. Nice to have a longish trail close and it is well maintained. Probably more fun for bikes. Somewhat monotonous to hike.

I forgot to start recording at the beginning. We rode from the Vietnam Memorial to the west end of the trail in Mineral Wells and back, except we rode up the hill beyond our start point, up over the highway, then back down to the war memorial lot. About 10.5 miles total. It was a very nice ride, easy trail, it's paved once you get to the east side of town all the way to the trailhead on the west side. Most of the roads you cross are not busy. Lots of nature along the trail.

Considering it was still winter, the weather was awesome and the trail was in great shape. I met some interesting people and had some great trailside conversations. I would recommend both this trail and the Trinity Trail in Fort Worth.
