Decent trail. Hot...dry...and sporadic shading. (there are no long stretches in the shade. If you need a break and come to shade....take it! It may be a bit before you get back to shade)

Also...if you have Verizon your phone will be DEAD for many miles around this park. I recommend downloading the map before you get to the park. The ranger station has wifi but it can be slow.

Set into the side of the lake's walls, this has some steep steps and rock seating along the way. Overall a short trail with a fairly straight and narrow path. The trail leads to the edge of the water and back up the sides for a nice view.
