What a hidden treasure within the city of Dallas. My husband and I are visiting from Michigan for a Bowl football game. We enjoyed the scenery, flowers, all the people with their dogs, the ice house with the outdoor fires, paved roads and bamboo!

Short trail for cycling, but nice to have a safe place to ride in Dallas

Not challenging; as in fairly flat, but smooth surface and safe. Typically all kinds of exercisers early morning and evenings. I recommend it.

Great trail for running and walking. Not a good bike trail. It is very busy. Shaded for a majority of the trail.

Kudos to all the volunteers and those who donate who make this urban trail so nice!

We just biked the complete trail this morning. Although there were tons of cyclists, runners, joggers, walkers and cute waggers, it was SO FUN to get out into downtown Dallas and enjoy the urban landscape surrounding this beautiful and mostly shaded trail. Ended our outing with an ice cold beer at the Katy Trail Ice House. Perfect Independence Day morning! Happy trails!

I don’t consider paved sidewalks as a trail.

It’s an upgraded side walk in the middle of a city. Some nice bamboo and house architecture. Very crowded.

This is a great urban trail and is heavily used by the citizens of Dallas! It’s not a wilderness hike in the Rockies, but it’s great, just the same!

Great to run and people watch. Easy on the knee as there are no incline.

I hate running on pavement, and the 5 miles I ran today are all pavement. not a great running trail, but nice, scenic walk or bike ride through the city. Nice by SMU campus.

This is walk. Not hiking as in a national park on a trail.

All paved, super flat. Easy start to finish and always crowded, even on week days. Very well-maintained and litter-free. The wisteria in the springtime is absolutely lovely. Stop at Katy Trail Ice House if it's a drinkin' sort of hike.

Great place. It's not very crowed early in the morning. We did 7 miles on the trail, it was great! I like that the trail was very shaded. I didn't see any bathrooms. We did see plenty of water fountains though
