Lots of disc golf. You'll need to find a place to park if you follow the GPS - I parked at the playground across the street.
Nice trail... paved and great for stroller. Not too busy and everyone was nice on the trail.
Great for beginners! Awesome views lots of shade and places to rest/enjoy the vista. Very well maintained!
Paved wide well-marked trail, almost all full sun. Sights along the trail: frisbee golf, a beautiful pond, Veteran Memorial, baseball fields, parks, and a creek that winds at a distance for the length of the purple/green trail.
A nice trail, lots of greenery and wildflowers. I took the purple trail, which is about 1.75 miles one way. I saw another trail intersect, but I didn’t take that route. I’ll try it again another time. Not sure why the trails are listed as one? Purple trail starts right before Keller Springs, and you can park on the street next to it or there’s a small parking lot across the street where the playground is.
There are many places where you can access this trail. One entrance for the Green Trail starts near the Downtown Carrollton Train Station. The Green and Purple trail meet near Josey Ln at Porter Park. The purple trail crosses a disk golf course and also a kids park in the north end (Ward Steenson Park). The green trail crosses Porter Park, the Josey Ranch Athletic Complex and the WJ Thomas Park. This trail is perfect for any beginner looking for a place to run, walk, ride their bike, or walk their dog.
