It isn't hard, nor is it 5.5 miles. It's 2.7 miles. It's ok if you aren't expecting a workout.

I love this Trail! This is a very easy, well maintained trail with only a slight uphill section. It is 2.7 miles round trip, has two beautiful ponds on it, and the birding here is spectacular. It is located within Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge, so be sure to stop at the visitor center for a trail map and more information about this and other trails on The Refuge.
