It is an extremely easy trail: completely flat, level and gravel (it used to be a railroad bed). Stop by the Refuge Visitor Center to borrow some binoculars and enjoy!

This is a great trail, but the information listed is inaccurate. It is an extremely easy trail: completely flat, level and gravel (it used to be a railroad bed). Dogs are allowed on a leash, but mountain biking is absolutely not allowed. Stop by the Refuge Visitor Center to borrow some binoculars and enjoy!

Beautiful trail. Well maintained. My dogs and I had a great walk. Make sure you bring bug spray... lots of mosquitos.

A go-to trail at Hagerman for bird-watching, wildlife, flora and fauna. Nice ponds and tree-lined paths.
