This trail isn't bad. I'm an avid hiker and I spend a lot of time hiking Colorado, Oregon, Washington, and Alaska. What I like about the Granger Lake trail the is that it is slightly challenging due to the mud and all of the steep gravelly incline/declines -- which at times was like walking up/down a hill of marbles. Also, there a few really amazing large old bridges which are fun to walk across. One of the bridges was supposedly haunted. But what I liked best was being surprised by all of the armadillos rummaging through dead leaves just the sun started going down. Saw a herd of deer too!
