If this is the trail I'm thinking of, it's all concrete. As a trail runner, this trail is a sinch, but the proximity to the Walnut Creek trails is good. I usually am running in Walnut Creek park, and run through here to take a little break from the more rugged trails.

Lazy strolls, your half-hour of walking to get a quick exercise, or bringing your kids to play in the park. That's what this trial is good for. obviously it's in the city, so expect city sounds, and sadly, the occasional "dirty/creepy" looking person. But all-in-all, it's very nice and lots of people use it so it's totally safe and a good choice for the family.

You can't escape the sounds of the city and there is graffiti along the bridge. Not bad just not a place I'll revisit many times despite being close to home.

A very nice new and paved trail following Walnut Creek for several miles for hikers and bikers. Several amazing pedestrian bridges over the creek, and a number of side trails on both sides of creek. I will be returning, very impressed.
