We hiked the trail even though it appears to primarily be a bike trail. We had two alltrails apps recording our mileage and we each came up with about 3.3. I think the map says 2.6. Just be aware of the extra distance.
Great community project with a dedicated set of volunteers. Hikers will have to move over for mountain bikers frequently on the main "Ranger" loop but some of the interior trails are less crowded on the weekends.
Fairly easy multi-loop trail in Frisco. About 9 miles total (all loops), well maintained by DORBA. Be aware of the direction you're traveling and watch for hikers.
Beware of Mesquite thorns... have had a few flats while riding out here.
