I always enjoy this trail with its rocky terrain, highs and lows, and it’s scenic viewpoint. I also like that it’s pretty long so you can get several hours of nature! We’ve been coming here since the kids were little.

Beautiful trail. Mostly covered. Only did 2 miles out and 2 miles back but it was a great hike!! Might be a little tough for beginners but any experienced hiker will find this trail moderate to easy. Definitely recommend if you need a break from the routine of city life!!

My son & I (and dog) completed did a portion of this hike recently. We had the mixed blessing of rain the previous night which created temperatures that weren't scorching hot, but gave us a bit of a muddy trek. I would say this is easy to moderate, but a really nice hike regardless. with plenty of shade. With a few extra steps you can venture down to the lake for a close up view, or skip a few rocks if so inclined. I'm fine with paying $5.00 per person. We saw families with kids and dogs...very civilized.

Shaded, well-marked path with wildflowers and occasional deer. Not many scenic views for the first 2.5-3 miles. Trails are dry now. NOTE: BE SURE to order day pass tickets online, in advance ($5), or you can’t get in!

We camped and hiked at Eisenhower State Park just recently (June 4 - 6, 2020). We really enjoyed it! The trails were GREAT! Only a few muddy spots in low areas which were easy to navigate around. Beautiful views of Lake Texoma throughout the trail. Trails were clearly marked and easy to walk on and throught wooded areas so plenty of shade. We would definitely go back again!

Lots of mud today, and it has not rained for several days. Not much elevation, had some pretty views, lots of shade and spider webs

The trail is well marked and an easy hike with no real inclines. There are lots of benches along the way as the trail meanders around the picnic area. There are some pretty magnificent views of Lake Texoma. It was exceptionally muddy after on overnight rain, so plan for that if you go after a rainy day. Eisenhower Park has lots of places to camp and picnic and a beach that is closed right now due to COVID-19. Fun, easy hike that we will surely do again!

With the COVID lockdown, we nearly had the whole park to ourselves - on the 2nd day because we didn't realize we needed reservations ahead of time. Trail signs, markers are a little confusing. Never heard of each end of a trail with different numbers, but after you get the lay of the land we got it. $5.00 per person is a little steep, but I guess it goes to a good cause. Most of the trails we were on, we covered about 75% of the trails, were in the shade. No bugs, but might be some if you stopped for a long time on the trail in the woods. Plenty of water and rest rooms, since this is a campground. Fun hike. Definitely worth doing again. Not so sure once the park gets back to normal capacity. May be a little to crowded and noisy with the ATV trails.

Fun trail, just had a thunder storm this morning therefore it was muddy. Didn’t hinder us that much. Good elevation change, different from our norm.

This trail was awesome. However, it was so muddy and slippery that we had to cut it short.
