Great trail - brought my parents and kids along because it was just a couple miles - don’t know what happened but my gps recorded us as close to 4 miles start to finish! But well maintained trails, very busy (beautiful weather!). Saw a few deer!

Absolutely loved this trail. Wonderful views, lots of wildlife (the non-threatening kind).. will be back!

Fantastic trail for a hiking newbie. There's some decent elevation changes and great views. You'll likely see White Tail Deer galore, I usually see more than a few. For a bit more of a challenge, link the other end of the park to turn this in to about an eight mile trek.

Some fun opportunities to walk out on a few boulders near the top of the trail, some bridges and windmills. Trail is a nice length with some good views of the lake and plenty of shade. There are a few points where you can hop down to the shoreline.

The trail is semi-rugged, but definitely not too hard for the average person. There are nice views of the lake and a decent amount of shade along the trail. One of my favorite places to visit, a good option for a comfortable yet semi-challenging hike

Nice trail. I think it's more an easy trail versus a moderate trail.

Great trail for a couple hour hike. Nice views of the lake and saw deer, coyote, snake, turkey vultures, butterflies, and wild flowers. A few steep and rocky spots but mostly flat and easy.

Great moderate trail. Lake views are nice and the trails are clearly marked. I would come here more often but my hiking buddy isn’t allowed to enter the park. As a responsible pet owner who keeps his dog on a leash and picks up after potty time, I’m always looking for trails like this that also allow dogs.

This was my first time on this trail. The elevation changes were not more than I could handle. I did use my trekking polls to go up and down(bad knees). There a pit toilets at the trail head and at the halfway point. There is plenty of shade along the trail and once you get down by the lake they are wonderful breezes to help cool you off. Coming back from the lake there’s an overlook with a bench with great views of the lake. The trail was clean with little to no trash. .
