Really nicely maintained single file trail. Primary used by the mountain biking community it makes for a wonderful weekday hike when most people are at work. Although it recently rained the trail was damp but not muddy. It does have some slight elevation changes but nothing too drastic. More like a gentle grade up and down. Definitely coming back and doing this one again.
Nice trail to stretch your legs out. Relatively flat with enough rolling spots to make it interesting. Be sure to hike against the bike traffic. I didn’t so they came up behind me pretty suddenly. I would have preferred to see them coming at me. Views of the lake would have made this a bit better.
Very nice gravel trail covered with fall leaves. Watch out for gators and snakes. Beautiful views and highly recommend take time to lookout for wild life.
This is an easy and beautiful trail. 100% asphalt paved so it can be done in all weather conditions. All trail is used by hikers and bikers ome bits of the trail is shared by horse back riders.
Did about 2 miles with the little ones. Trail is awesome. And it’s OPEN
Beautiful day for a hike. There’s nothing like being in the forest under tree cover as it rains.
The trail was great, however it is definitely only intended to be for bikes (as the signs clearly post) so taking it can be treacherous as bikes will come hauling around at high speed. Most cyclists were kind an riding aware not only of hikers, but other bikers as well. Some however were not, so proceed with caution.
Beautiful trail - easy 8.5 mile hike. The mosquitos are pretty terrible right now but if you stay at a good 3 mph pace it’s not as bad. Finished in 2.75 hours.
Very pretty Park. Plenty of scenic views around the lake and spot a few deer on the north side of it. We were only able to do the Lake loop because unfortunately this time of year there were thousands of MOSQUITOS swarming around. Will go back when they die off.
Very shaded path! Definitely intended for mountain biking. Got lost a few times because the paths were not clearly marked. Shortened the hike at 5.8 which wasn’t bad. Took the dogs and they got tired out easily even with the shade.
