Not easy at all, at least moderate. You have to walk at least half a mile if not more to reach the bank then have to walk through the canyon walking over rocks of all shapes and sizes, at one point having to scramble down a group of very large boulder-like rocks. There is no hard ground at all in the canyon, it's either rocks or sand or silt making walking extremely difficult. At the end their is a steep embankment where you can slide down and continue on for a little bit but be warned, you'll have difficulty getting back up, because it's a hill of sand and silt, without help so I recommend not doing it alone. Went when it was overcast and cool and still sweated like it was 100 degrees out. Did not enjoy it at all.

We hiked this trail right after completing Devil's Den and the canyon walls were worth it.

really enjoyed the hike once we got to the narrow walls of the canyon.

Easy hike across the basin before dropping into a rocky dry riverbed. At the end of the trail via the riverbed is a nice little canyon with cliff faces on either side.

Nice trail with a very scenic canyon at the end. This trail is a good last trail to hike as you are leaving the park towards Marathon.
