One of the best rail to trail paths I've been on. Met friendly people and one person rode with us for half the ride. About intersections, they are well marked and waits were short. Surface is best of all. Smooth cement all the way. If there were 6 stars I would have made it 6 stars. Been on 6 states of rail trails, this was one of the best so far. Jerry

Straight, mainly flat, not hard to follow.

rode from Colorado Blvd to the far end and it was pretty great!! don't listen to the other reviewer whining about all the traffic crossings. they are plenty safe if you use half your brain and look both ways. went on a Friday around noon and no crossing took more than 15 seconds to cross. the pavement was nice and clear and not to many people on it either. 10/10

I rode this trail from the Downtown Denton Transit Center all the way across the Lake Lewisville bridge and back. There's numerous street crossings (some of which are very busy in terms of automobile traffic) where you have to wait for the crossing light, and even then you have to be careful because there's cars turning that will completely not notice you're there and will run you over if you try to cross while the "Walking" sign is green. It's also not very scenic, you're basically riding past industrial parks, trailer homes, RV parks, and old run-down neighborhoods. I would not recommend this trail!
