Long trail and great place to swim.

I absolutely love this walk! Peaceful and calm place along the beach. The water was somewhat muddy, and the sand had alot of shells and small pebbles, but still wonderful. I can't wait to go back <3

Nice, long beach with hardly any trash. Beautiful view even with brown water (silt, not pollution). Only downside is that it's a norm for people to drive in cars and golf carts up and down the beach. For walking, this is not as pleasant as a vehicle-free trail.

Great walk but not much of a trail though. Basically a hike up and down the beach. Very pleasant.

Drive right onto the beach. One of the few places left where you can let your dog run on the beach, leash free. Loved it. The only drawback was the Bolivar Car Ferry. It takes only a little time to get to the Bolivar side from the Galveston Island side, but when you want to come back, plan on spending 2 + hours in line. To drive around the bay to home would also take about 2 hours.
