Shade is practically nonexistent! Good clean trail though.

I wouldn't recommend this as a running trail to even my worst enemy. Yeah it has distance (which from Carroll "Udo Hoffman Park is the best place to begin) all the way down to W County Line Rd. is only like 2.6 miles total. You pass a few parks & benches which is good for shade, but other than that, it's all concrete roads. Part of the other side of the trail is blocked off, as there is construction going on. Orange netting & metal roads in the dirt so be careful! I don't plan on doing this run again, as I am very sun sensitive and even with light weight clothes, if you run this trail, bring a squeeze bottle of water for hydration. High humidity, lots of weeds on the trail where construction is going on, & the sewer smell is bad in high heat.

All right the comment that's below this paragraph Was from earlier earlier on I found a place to park at in the 700 block of North Park in New Braunfels it's a neighborhood. Park on the street there's access to this Trail going across the bridge out of this little small park that you will park your vehicle in front of. Don't expect nothing spectacular it's basically a concrete sidewalk for people to walk doing exercise or riding a bicycle down other than that it doesn't resemble a Trailhead at all Where do you park?

We went early on Sunday morning. Trail was not crowded, just a few walkers and their dogs. It was great for us as we are just re-learning how to ride our bikes after 30 plus years!

The picture of the trees is not from this trail, it is a picture of Fischer park which is close to the trail. The trail is a wide paved trail that is great for a short run or walk.

Nice easy trail for walking or jogging. BUT, don’t go to the Seguine Road trail head. There’s not even a place to park. It’s like the trail just ends at the highway with a 2 foot shoulder. Not a good place to start. You would have to airdrop in. Ha ha

All sidewalk, but the park is great and there’s plenty of distance. Lots of wildflowers!
