Comanche Bluffs Trail is a 1.4 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Taylor, Texas that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is accessible year-round.
we went 3 miles out and the trail kept going. I'm sure it goes at least another mile after that. Best to go in spring when all the flowers and birds are out. Didn't see any Commanches
Don't waste your time. Lots of ticks, mosquitos and just a bad trail.
Great trail and lots of wildflower. Very primitive and not maintained. Make sure to not go after a recent rain. Very muddy, lots of texas sized mosquitos. Make sure to wear long pants, there is a lot of poison oak. A LOT!!!
