I hiked the whole trail on January 26, which amounted to 11.4 miles as recorded by the AllTrails app. The trail is rated as "difficult" on AllTrails, but it's really on difficult because of its length. There are only a few sections with a bit of elevation change, and there aren't any technically difficult areas.

The winding part is tricky to follow, so keep an eye on the trail, and ideally follow the AllTrails app if you want to adhere to the trail. Otherwise, you can easily find yourself skipping parts.

Part of the winding section can be tricky if there is water flowing in the river, so it might not be possible to follow the trail exactly. If you can't, you can complete the section immediately south of the lake by crossing over the road at the end of the hike, instead of doing it at the beginning.

All in all it's a good trail in good condition to get the miles in. It's not as scenic as some others, and not particularly challenging, but definitely worth it if you are in the area.
