Not our favorite trail, but it's interesting and informative. There are placards along the walk giving facts about the ecosystem and history of the area. It could be that it's not our favorite because the kids were so wary of setting a single toe off the path since it's enclosed by cacti! Two members of our group were pulling blind prickly pear spines from fingers from accidentally brushing them.
An oasis in the desert! Away from this spot, there is very little green, and where the moisture is 50' trees and other greenery is growing. Lots of birds and other animals. A road goes completely around the spot, and trails go through the area.
