Catfish Point Trail is a 0.9 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Mathis, Texas that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

January 1, 2021Lake Corpus Christi State Park put in a .25 mi connector trail fro Longhorn to Catfish loop bringing the total to 2.5 miles of trails out and back from the Conservation Corp pavilion. It is a beautiful peaceful jaunt through the south Texas brush! There is lots of birds, deers, armadillos, and I have seen bobcat on the trail.
