The starting point the app suggests is under construction some flooding along the way too. Best bet is to start at the Irving Police Dept. as previously suggested.

Loved it!! Not that busy. Which is perfect for me!! Recommend it!

Not flooded if you enter at the bridge by the police station or north of there. South of that as of 5/9 it's still covered in mud from the rain.

I love this trail; about 10 miles of pavement that weaves in and out of the woods that is perfect for biking. My biggest complaint is whenever it rains the whole thing floods! It’s currently underwater.

Great afternoon for a bike ride.

Nice and quiet today on a clear but slightly chilly afternoon. The Sam Houston loop is closed but other than that, everything North of the Bird's Fort Trail parking lot is in great condition, 11/23/19.

This trail is nice for a leisure ride. It’s relaxing and there isn’t usually too many people. The area seems safe. You follow the river as well and pass by some nice houses at times.

Heads up, California Crossing (trail head) is out due to construction. You can get on several other spots though, like Birds Fort, TW Richardson, or Sam Houston trail park. Otherwise a great trail. All cleaned up after flooding earlier this year.

Nice trail, lots of bugs but also lots of butterflies. Good shade. Also a nice paved option for biking.

Now that the trail is closed it’s kind of nice because there’s fewer people on it. Just don’t go after a rain, or you’ll need a kayak to get through it.

Tried to enter but both entrances are closed. Please note this on the title the same as the other one listed. We drove about 30 minutes here just to have to reroute somewhere else

Enjoyed a relaxing, easy bike ride with my 8 year old. Was quiet and peaceful. Beautiful nature views. We are beginners it was the perfect skill level for us. In the city but was able to enjoy the outdoors.

This trail is short and flat but curvy, it also has good views! So it makes for some nice easy cruising if your cycling, but hard to get miles in on it

Great path for biking, running, or walking the dog. Smooth, wide, flat, easy. Not sure why people are complaining about parking. Just park in any of the neighborhoods or apartment complexes that the trail runs through. Floods often - that's the only criticism.

Same as last review. Can’t get in.
