Great trail with some steep inclines. Great workout to get away from city life.

Heavily trafficked trails. Falls a little dry but there are lots of nice spots along the creek with pretty rock formations carved out from the water. Dogs off leashes here. No bathrooms or water fountains.

My second favorite trail for hiking and swimming at the Austin Greenbelt. A bit crowded, but if you go further down the trail it gets quieter. Good place to bring the kids, with little to no hiking to enjoy the falls.

Pretty, but lots of road noise. Part of the trail is on a road where construction of a water tank is right there. Slippery rocks this morning after rainfall yesterday. The signage is confusing, the trail entrance isn’t the big wide path with lots of signs, you find a narrow opening in the gate near the entrance road.

Nice trail that doesn’t appear to be heavily used. We only saw two other people on the trail. It’s easy to follow but the markings aren’t good. We could have made our hike a loop instead of two in and outs but there are no signs at the top. It was still pleasant through a wooded area.

I got there about 9:30am Monday and was the only car in the parking lot, I did the whole trail and didn't see any others hikers until passing one trio when I was almost done. Keep right at every intersection/fork to be going uphill on the slipperiest steep parts. That saved me a few times when I did slip/slide on this trip, despite wearing good-quality hiking boots.

Such a beautiful site to see when most of the water has receded, and you get to see the view from down below. Some of the trail is overgrown and blowdown but nothing that we couldn’t get through as a group. Very easy and beautiful hike. The ending is the absolute best.

Once you find the right trail, it is really fun. Make sure you use this app to get on the right trail first. Signs can be deceiving. Wasn’t much of a view. And part of it was on a backroad.

I absolutely love this hike. Easy access and lots of parking. There are some steep, rocky hills so proper footwear is necessary. Slightly overgrown in some areas. Nice and quiet with great views once you’re at the top. Great hike if your wanting something a little more difficult and secluded.

This was a great trail once you get onto the main trail. It’s a wildlife preserve so no dogs are allowed, but it was a really nice and beautiful hike with a little bit of elevation.

So two big complaints: 1 is the amount of bugs. Would have enjoyed the hike a lot more if there weren’t horse flies circling my head for half of it. 2 is that the entrance was hard to find and the path was overgrown. The entrance is the fence with the slight opening at the very beginning of the parking lot!
