Nice paved paths with clean views of the Downtown Houston skyline. Accessibility: The trail surface is paved concrete and typically at least six feet wide. The grade is mostly gentle with an estimated max of 5%. Most wheelchair and stroller users will likely be able to navigate this trail.
Nice cool 90 degrees outside. Was nice to get out of the house and enjoy this easy trail.
To be completely honest, I couldn’t figure out if I was on the correct trail. The nav here was a bit confusing. I ended up riding the city sidewalks and near the skatepark. Overall it was a great ride. Would recommend more signs showing start of trial.
This is an awesome running, walking, and bike path! It’s beautifully paved, runs along the bayou, and is a very nice trail to have in the middle of downtown Houston. There are other trails you can fork off onto, or the trail continues on longer than the four miles as well. I ran this yesterday and there were LOTS of wild sunflowers blooming; they were mesmerizingly stunning.
