An amazing series of trails: Medium intensity MTB, moderate and easy trail. I've been on this two weeks in a row and had a blast both times. Signs in the East Park indicate possible crocs. I didn't see any crocs but I almost ran over a small tortoise. Saw deer and lots of squirrels. Some of the wooden bridges need work.

HikingGreat!

This trail offers a 6.12-mile loop *around* the lake. A great option. Nice, smooth footing. Woodland. Golf course. Lake.

Great dog friendly trail. Can be busy, so you won’t be entirely alone. Early morning short walk, might be for you. Can be busy in the afternoons.

The Spillway is the destination point in this trail system. There is a lot of good artwork at the spillway. This trail is best for biking in my opinion.

this was our FIRST trail system ever... bought wife and daughter bikes this Christmas and fixed my 20 yo Giant Rincon... worked up to riding after a 10 year no riding. So we loaded up all 3 bikes and took off to the park. parking was a no go on the bike trail side but no issue on the other side. we unloaded there and rode the trail all the way around, not sure if bikes are allowed non those walking trails.... anyway once we got to the other side and looked at the board we were able to take off. I did not download the trail so it was no use once we were there and the trail is not marked well. Also the trail is not worn but all the bridges have missing boards so hit them fast. I really figured I would be dead tired as I've only been riding 3 months on gravel roads for 3-4 mile trips, but we all had so much fun before we knew it we had ridden over 5 miles then decided to ride back to truck then go to thirty Burger..... we went 4 Saturdays ago before all the Corona lockdown... this trail app told us about this trail and we will be back often. yes the trail needs some love and care.... but if each person that goes fixes ONE thing it will be a fun wonderful easy trail for us all to enjoy.

The map doesn’t show the wilderness trail but the advanced bike trail. The Bringle Lake Wilderness trailhead is almost immediately next to the access road leading from the parking lot. The Wilderness Trail archway is BEFORE you get to the restrooms with a path leading to the trailhead about twenty or so feet away. The wilderness trail takes you a little over 1.5 miles to the lake and dam/spillway and has some pretty good dips in it. About a half mile in you will get to a stone archway, keep going for another mile until you get to the lake. If you want to do the full loop cross over the dam and walk through the parking area and down the road a tiny bit until you come to another archway. From there the trail is still woody but follows the golf course and eventually runs next to some backyards for about 3.5 miles before terminating on University blvd. From there follow the side walk for about a mile back up to Bringle Lake East. There is a nice board walk right before the bridge which connects to Bringle Lake West which consists of a volley ball court, playground, a pavilion, fishing area and boat ramp.

Great trail considering the area and lack of other options. The entrance is not clearly marked and there's an intersection where the bike trail wants pedestrians to stay to the right. The trail to the right just loops back and forth. Don't bother with it. You could cut through the woods to the right and there is a wide, very visible trail to follow. Or just stay in t the bike trail. It's much prettier and you'll join up with the other trail at the dam. from there, follow the wider path back rather than the trail with the red arrows. Overall, nice trail to run!

Very easy trail, not much change in elevation. Just a pleasant hike next to the lake. There are park benches along the way if you need to take a break. This is a trail that is accessible for just about anyone, including those with pets.

The Nix Creek Trail in Texarkana, Arkansas is an outstanding 2.5 mile trail that is well maintained by the City of Texarkana, AR. This views along the trail are some of the best in Texarkana. The trail is slightly uphill from south to north and is 10 feet wide asphalt. Every year in February we hold our our half marathon and runners come from all the country due to being able to run one half in two states. Additional wide sidewalks are being added in the Trail north of Arkansas Blvd. On Arkansas Blvd there is a great trail head with adequate parking. Please give this a try asap.
