WalkingGreat!

The Boggy Creek Trail is a charming, easy, neighborhood trail that connects the Parque Zaragoza Neighborhood Center to Rosewood Park and Downs Mabsen baseball fields. There are some picnic tables and shelters along the way. It's mostly shaded and good for walking, running or biking (if you have a hybrid or mountain bike). There are new paved bike lanes being added now near Rosewood Park. There are some large public art installations too - wood structures off of Nile Street and murals on the pillars under the Pleasant Valley Road bridge. It's worth checking out at least once, even if you don't live in the neighborhood. If I lived in the neighborhood, I'd walk this trail all the time!

Great short neighborhood trail. Wide paths for distancing and people on bikes. Public restrooms available near the water fountains.

Great little path! Great for trail for dogs and running. It is right next to the neighborhood and street so keep dogs on leash if they run around.

I wouldn't tell anyone to travel far for this one but it's great to add to a long bike ride or walk your dogs. Shady and scenic, lots of wide open spots to have a picnic and still maintain distance from other people. Some access to boggy creek and a community garden closer to MLK.

Not a destination trail, but a lovely neighborhood greenbelt for those who live nearby, or if, like me, you find yourself in East Austin with time for a walk. Pecan trees, live oaks and other hardwoods throughout, with open spaces for playing with the kids or dogs, and abundant birds and squirrels - including woodpeckers. An up-close look at a slice of East Austin, the trail meanders back and forth over Boggy Creek. Evidence of improvements are everything, with the off limits area where the grasses and native plants are encouraged to grow back, as well as construction of new sidewalks. Runs along Cap Metro rail line and will take you to the Manor Road Metro Raul station.

Wasn't worth the trip. I imagine if you live in the neighborhood it's an okay spot to walk your dog.

This trail is for the casual, neighborhood walker. It’s partially paved, mostly shaded accept about a fourth at the end. It’s mainly like walking through a park. The other side of the street is houses. Very quiet, respectful folks. There are some great picnic tables along the way if you’re looking for a short, family walk and picnic.

Not enough shade. To city. Homeless population. Safety questionable.

I love this meandering trail after a good rain; the foliage is lush and the creek roars! It's a sweet stroll from our house and a good after dinner walk with the dog- IF you live nearby. Not necessarily a "destination trail," but definitely a must for those of us in the neighborhood!
