Blue Creek Trail is a 11 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Big Bend National Park, Texas that features beautiful wild flowers and is only recommended for very experienced adventurers. The trail is primarily used for hiking, nature trips, and bird watching and is best used from October until April.

Beautiful hike up the drainage through some lush canyon foliage, nice rock formations, and a grueling climb to the peak. All very much worth the effort.

Gradual climb until the last several miles when you climb out of the drainage. Interesting rock formations

much more difficult than the loop trails, miles of loose gravel, overgrown thorny trails, and confusing dry River forks, did see a monster tarantula on the dry riverbed which was really cool.
