Gradual climb until the last several miles when you climb out of the drainage. Interesting rock formations

Beautiful hike up the drainage through some lush canyon foliage, nice rock formations, and a grueling climb to the peak. All very much worth the effort.

much more difficult than the loop trails, miles of loose gravel, overgrown thorny trails, and confusing dry River forks, did see a monster tarantula on the dry riverbed which was really cool.

Fantastic! So much to see: red rock formations, high peaks, to green shady woods. Caves high up on pink walls....just an incredible trail!
