The Beaver Pond Kayak Trail is a new feature at LLELA for the whole family! Bring your kayak or canoe for a nature trail on water. The water is calm. The pond averages just a few feet in depth, so it is a great place for the young and learning to venture out and enjoy nature. There is no better way to see and truly experience the wetlands at LLELA than by paddle power. With two kayak water trails and calm waters at LLELA, the Beaver Pond affords those that like to canoe and kayak an opportunity to see some of the areas of the areas that are not accessible by walking trail, areas where wildlife is more abundant and intruded on less by humans. The Beaver Pond trip passes by all the kayak trail interpretive signs that describe the nature around you.  These signs are only accessible by water.
