Stunningly beautiful. Amazing this exists in Texas. Very steep and windy road. Narrow and tight in spots.

Scenic drive into the heart of the Chisos leading to multiple trailheads, camping. Camping can be limited in big Bend during the peak season. Plan well ahead.

This is the highest (and coolest) portion of Big Bend. This road is only about 10 miles, a little crooked, but fun to drive. Trailers over 25' not recommended.
