I always love this place to hike since I moved to Austin. It’s beautiful with bit of shade and sun mixed. Need more rain to fill up swimming hole but overall it is beautiful place to hike and smell the nature is what I needed!

This trail has all. Natural earth path has plenty of variations of underneath rocks and soil. It has a creek along side. The shading is great with trees on both sides crossing overhead. It also has moderate elevation. It is well trafficked.

Great trail

Perfect hike for a random sunny day in February! A little rocky, but overall very doable and very pretty. Just watch out for bikes!

Wow! We stumbled upon a really cool rock sculpture area off the trail. No water except for in one small part. I love this trail.

Nice trail. Along the water for most of it. Was able to take a dip which was sooo nice.

Hike w Chloe and Pancho.. pretty rocky but fun little pond at the end for the doggies

Hike and area was great however the number of people with loose dogs made it not so enjoyable. My advise go early miss the crowd.

Lots of small trails off the big ones. We had time so we let ourselves get lost. Saw at least one frustrated couple who didn't seem to know where they wanted to go. Parking was easy, but could be crammed in "nicer weather" even though it was 65 and sunny. Was fun to walk along the river bed since the dam is closed but would also be beautiful with water.

My third favorite trail on the Austin Greenbelt. Been coming to this spot since I was in high school.

Good hike trail! Easy to find the starting point. Parking is available both side of the road but could get crowded. we went on the Thanksgiving day and yet the parking was kind of full. Creek was empty and we could walk through the creek. walking through the creek is fun. Good for dogs and you can let them run around without a leash. but... please pick up your dog poop!!!

A beautiful trail that’s a bit rocky at first. I arrived around 8am on a Sat and only 2 cars were parked in the lot. When I left around 9am, the lot was very full. Definitely come early if you want quiet on the trail. Overall I enjoyed my hike!

Nice hike... not very challenging, but there are two waterfalls. Good for a novice. .

Good trail to hike in the early morning, was really excited to see the river and formations around it. Walked the 5 mile loop was pretty easy with lots of rocks and incline but easily traversed. Will be back again and would recommend to anyone looking for an In town hike/walk.

Such a fun hike. Not steep at all. The water isn’t flowing but there is a small lake at the end of the trail. Very peaceful.

A nice, well maintained busy city trail. The water wasn't flowing but there was a pool at Sculpture Falls with a few fish. great easy getaway from the city.

great trail, long, rough incline at the very end before you turn around. Good workouts. Hate the bikes. Go to a real mtn bike trail people. They come zipping around! There are too many people walking/hiking for those bikers to be on that trail. Wish they would go somewhere else. Graffiti all over the place, people really get a boost from damaging the natural environment. Of course, you have a majority of the rule-breakers. You got dogs off leashes, people dont pick up dog's poop. But all complaining aside, good trail. Didnt care for all the rocks.
