There are many loop options available to take with this trail system. The entire system includes approximately 11 miles of single-track trail that weaves through the wooded lakeside area of the Pat Mayse Recreation Area. The various loops range from distances as short as a half mile to those that are more than two miles. These loops are generally permitted as two-way traffic rather than the conventional MTB clockwise, hikers counter-clockwise and create an opportunity to vary your route for repeated use. Since the trail is not generally heavily trafficked, the two way traffic does not create a significant issue. Just keep a watch out for oncoming bikers/hikers.

The entire system includes approximately 11 miles of singletrack trail that weaves through the wooded lakeside area of the Pat Mayse Recreation Area. I would suggest this trail is ideal for the hiker and trail runner because the variety in loops does create mild confusion on how the trail best flows. MTBs will really enjoy the trail because it is smooth, has good flow, and is fast.

There are some steep drops and climbs that you should be aware of. The trail boasts many lake view points as well. Nearby there is camping.
