This is a good urban loop trail where planes intersect with rowers and walkers.

Excellent at any time. It has lighting. There are many people doing different activities and that's why you feel safe. Good for dogs, bicycles, jogging, walking, going with children, etc.

A family friendly trail around Bachman Lake, recently paved. Great views of planes landing and towers on the lake.

boring, paved, noisy. I also second everyone who has said they've encountered sketchy folks. not a pleasant experience at all.

If you have business in Dallas and are looking for a nice loop trail for a quick run, this trail is ideal. Conveniently located near both major airports, nicely paved, relatively flat. The loop is almost exactly a 5k. It loops around a lovely lake. Granted, it’s in the city and near airports so you will hear street noise and jet noise.

Trail under repair. Sketchy people spotted. Don't go there alone. Thanks

This hike is located just north of the border of Dallas Love Field Airport. One should be realistic about the level of "back-to-nature" experience to expect. This is a pleasant little oasis of nature, in the middle of Dallas strip malls, streets, and an airport. The trail is paved, smooth, wide, well-maintained - excellent! This would be a really nice place to bring kids to ride bikes. It has some playgrounds, picnic areas, and rest room facilities. After my flight down from Idaho, it was very nice to take a stroll around this lake. I was able to see some cute squirrels, some lovely birds, and some nice people having fun on a Sunday afternoon.

Did a 5k summer running series here a few years back. Not a terribly interesting or challenging course.

Was not very scenic. Parts of it had a sewer odor. But the planes taking off from Love Field right over our heads made it more interesting.

This 3+ mile loop is great for running, but I can't give it more than three stars because the area is just unattractive for the most part. If you want to run for training, I recommend it. If you want nice scenery, skip it and head to White Rock.
