Easy trail crosses prairie and woods with a stop at a creek. Entrance at visitor center. There is also a auto tour with stops at a small lake. Saw lots of deer including a huge buck, and water fowl at the refuge, but no prairie chickens.

This is the sycamore trail, it goes through the prairie and partly into a wooded area. Aside from the rare prairie chicken sighting, there are white tail deer and many other cranes and birds. The trail is mowed through a field and the right stroller could probably be pushed over the grass. Beware of ticks during the summer and there are spiders in the woods as well.

Didn't see any prairie chickens, but they are endangered, so I guessed I wouldn't. Watch out for fire ants! Don't stand in one place too long.
