This trail was originally just a neighborhood path, but has since been expanded. Because of its width, the original portion of the trail from about Beltway Drive to Brookwood is better for walkers and runners. The newer portions to Vitruvian Park, Arapaho Road, and Brookhaven College are wider and better for cyclists.

Great if you’re from the neighborhood but probably not worth a drive just to walk this. Most of it is in the easement (oncor property) behind houses. In Winter/Spring 2020 there were tons of Coyotes residing here, in Summer 2020 Oncor leveled many of the ornamental landscaping so there’s not even pockets of shade now.
