This trail is often used to loop around Gregory's Bald. Its hard to imagine it being used as an out and back trail. Its end destination at Parsons Bald is diminished by the fact that the "bald," itself, is practically reforested, and the nearby and far more spectacular GB is only a mile further down the GB Ridge Trail. More details on the WRT are in my review of the Gregory Bald via Twentymile Trail.
