This is really more of a short walk than a hike but it does lead to a neat spot with a really beautifiul vista over the Caney Fork River and the TN hills. ________________________________________________ GETTING THERE: Take Scott Gulf Road south, turn on Welch's Point Road just past the Virgin Falls Trailhead. Once you reach the end of the long gravel road, it is a short walk down to Welch's Point.

I went with a 2 yo and 4 yo. The walk to the point was so easy we walked back to the car, got our lunch and chairs and walked back. Incredible views. Worth the drive.
