This is a great dog friendly trail. It's paved and partly shaded with plenty of benches along the way.

Great green way! Beautiful scenery and very good track. Close to 11.00 in a nice day the way is getting busy.

I am visiting Nashville from Texas and this was the first walk that I’ve done. I did a wonderful 4 mile walk and it obviously goes longer! Beautiful scenery and I brought my dog with me on a leash. There was a good amount of people there with dogs as well that I felt safe. It was not crowded and great to be in nature!

Pack some snacks as this is a great ride with a LOT of hills. I started at Shelby Bottom Nature center and ended up on Two Rivers Greenway trail that takes you all the way to the Dam. Its about 15 miles one way. I ended up on 3 greenways that connect with each other. Shelby Bottom, Stones River from Greenland and Stones River of Nashville. If you start from Shelby Bottom you simple turn off at the bridge that takes you over Cumberland River to link up on Two Rivers before hitting Stones River.

Beautiful course all the way through the 15 miles. The hills on the way back weren’t too bad but the last one was a beast! It’s paved all the way through so don’t expect to bring out your trail shoes. This is a great route for marathon training!

been on this trail plenty of times. great ride. huge hill near the 2 mile mark headed east just past the golf course. pretty view of the cumberland and the stones river, nice wooden bridge along the river near the dam. if you start from the dam and head west, continue on to the shelby bottoms greenway into the park, and all the way into downtown via davidson st. great ride if you're looking to explore a little bit of nashville.

Great for a quick hike just to spend time outdoors. The trail is totally paved and wide enough for pedestrians to easily avoid all the bicyclists. We even saw some deer on our walk. Lots of other people exploring when we were out so it felt like a good/safe area to walk if you were by yourself during the day. The pedestrian bridge and the paintings on the tunnels were cool to see.

Nice paved green way with some views of water. Good for biking or running. Not the most interesting for walking/hiking. But well maintained and popular.
