I’m I went up the trail after the snow came and it was great! A bit tough at times but marked with white paint on the trees. Great to explore with cold weather dogs!

The waterfalls are the easy part. After then it gets steep and poorly marked. Pretty aggressive up hill. Nice views at the top. If you want an easy fun short hike, just do the waterfalls.

Today, Monday morning in mid-November, I didn't see a sole on the trail. The trail was easy to identify plus there were tree markers all along the way. It was an absolutely lovely trail that parallels the creek the entire way to the falls. There were many little falls/cascades along the way. The trail starts out very easy. In fact, novice hikers could easily make it to the falls with no problem. It rained yesterday and there were some muddy spots and slippery rocks. I was glad to have my hiking poles along for stability. Once you pass the falls, it becomes an up hill climb. There is a lot of scrambling around/over rocks. Also, as you near the end of the trail it was like climbing up a mud slide....very slippery and challenging. The end of the trail offers beautiful vistas now that the leaves have fallen from the trees. Unfortunately, the highway noise ruined a perfectly peaceful hike.

HikingGreat!

Beautiful hike and nice climb, some of the trail has been blocked by fallen trees but easy to get by, I took my 3 kids all the way to the top ages 12,10,5 and our 5 month old pup and it was well worth the climb!!!

The trailhead is unmarked but the GPS coordinates will get you to the right spot. The waterfall is a hidden gem and the view from the Devil’s Racetrack is impressive.

Great trail. Manageable for a family with 6-9 year olds. Minimal whining. Road noise was not as bad as people said, and it was actually pretty cool to look down from the top onto the freeway. Definitely a top-tier trail. Use the GPS provided to find the trailhead, which isn’t marked.

I really enjoy this trail! It’s a tough one but MAN that view!!! Actually started at the trail head today, and didn’t like it as well as starting on the Falls side. It is a FANTASTIC trail with beautiful sights and I’m glad I took it, but will likely start at falls in the future. I wasn’t a huge fan of being literally steps away from a busy I-75 more for safety than noise, but YES, the noise is loud! Overall great time and great trail!

Was good...a walking stick helped due to all the rocks on The trail hidden under wet leaves. Too difficult for little ones.

The trail is very strenuous and mostly uphill on uneven rocky ground and pretty narrow closer to the top. Adding rain the last couple of days made it a little slippery. However the weather was gorgeous, the falls were enchanting and the views stunning, I did it with my three kiddos and made it to the lookout point. There was only one area with the trees block the path but it was easy to find the trail after it.

It was Late October... the fallen leaves, moist rocks, & steep incline made for a difficult hike (probably too much for toddlers) but we loved the waterfalls & views atop the mountain.

Moderate trail. A little strenuous getting to the top where the overlook is, definitely worth it though.
