This a nice meandering trail which winds around an abandoned stone quarry. The quarry cut marble blocks from the 1880s to the 1920s, and then later reopened to be a limestone quarry. The quarry has filled with water and is now an absolutely gorgeous lake. The trail is maintained by Ijams Nature Center, which is just across the street from the trailhead. It can be surprising to find such a wonderful trail nestled deep in South Knoxville!

Nice and short, moderate difficulty climb. As an added bonus you pass by a historic cemetery. Fun hike.

Nice hike with some steep sections but not too hard wouldn’t have miles adding the cave loop

I took my girlfriend here as a surprise for both of us. I’m obsessed with climbing and exploring so this place gets two thumbs up from me. There are several great views, and photo opportunities. As for the people who leave negative reviews due to bugs, heat, cold, etc. It’s probably best for you to get back to that couch and binge-watch something on Netflix.

Nice walk around to see pretty views at a couple of overlooks. The old graveyard was cool, the most interesting part of the hike. Fits the bill for convenient near-town hike. Might not necessarily return though.

I hiked on the Flow trail, good amount of wildlife, could hear some cars from the road.

This trail is a great short hike perfect for an afternoon walk. I highly recommend bringing your dogs along on these trails, as the terrain is pretty easy for them. There are some great views of the quarry lake and the surrounding forest area. While there isn't as much greenery in the winter months, the leaves litter the floor and make for a fun crunchy hike.

This is a good climb and decent old grave yard and views of the quarry.
