Connected to Slickrock Hancock loop off the Clemmer trail - a good bit of climbing for a while but pretty winter woods to keep you company. Comes down to a beautiful creek to hike among the rhododendrons and leads you to some beautiful winter sky sunset ridge views on the way back to Benton Falls trail.

This a great trail, It throws a lot at you, But well worth the trouble . I go in from the Farr Gap end. You hike Mt ridges, drop to beautiful valleys and walk on trails that were once narrow gauge rairoad tracks. When I was younger I would hike it every year. Wildcat Falls will be a place you want to stop and camp at. I promise, this will be a trek you will remember for years to come. - doug

Great overall trail. It's challenging to the extent of exhaustion. There are uphill climbs, downhill drifts, and everything in between. It's a great trail for beginner-intermediate riders. The rocks offer a great technical ride for those who like a challenge. There is a fallen tree on part of the trail (as of a ride on 30 May 2013). Be prepared to hike around it easily. It has tight spots. It has loose spots. There's a nice dirt jump at the beginning of the trail for those who like to get some air on the trail. It's on top of Chilhowee Mountain in the Cherokee National Forest.
