Nice trail. Just don’t understand why we bring the trail out on to the road. Not an issue today but busy summertime would be a real hazard. Benton Falls makes this trail attractive. I rated it a 3 star, but should be a 3.5 in my view.

We started out on the slick rock trail, but ended up on one of the other loops coming back. It was great that we could choose how far we wanted to go with all of the loops. It was pretty low grade elevation gain most of the time staying on the old roads that are now trails. And of course, Benton falls is beautiful. With all the loops we did we ended up with about 7.5 miles

I really enjoyed the trail. Enough elevation gains to get my heart exercised. Good and shady. Very pretty. My only two negatives. The map had you do a down and back that makes no sense. And I don’t like the ending. You have to walk on the road and then through the camp ground.
