This is a decent place to take family or visitors to Clarksville to see a neat geologic feature without the drive up to Mammoth Cave. Overall the trail itself is not very interesting through the woods and usually pretty trafficked. Good for playing Pokémon Go, though!

My husband and I are in our mid 40s. We did this little hike with our 3 year old and 7 year old grand kids. They both walked the whole way, including the 3 year old. There are a few tree roots on the path and small inclines. the trail is clearly marked and well maintained. It took us about 1 hour. We went in February after the heavy snow and it was beautiful. The park gates automatically close at sunset. There was a cave at the entrance/exit, but it was closed. The kids still had a good time playing in front of the cave. Not too busy, we saw 5 other people. Dogs are welcome, so our great dane had a blast. This is a good introductory hike.
