Some might consider this to be a bit more than "Easy" but it's a great hike. The roots, stumps, rocks, and slopes might be too much but the waterfall is really nice. We ate lunch while sitting on one of the rocks below the falls.

HikingMuddy

We went after a snowfall, and it was gorgeous! The trail was extremely muddy and a little slippery. We didn’t have any trouble with our hiking boots and trekking poles though. The restrooms at the ranger station are extremely clean and heated, which was nice after hiking in the snow.

HikingMuddy

Hiked it yesterday. A lot of others have said it - it’s muddy but it wasn’t what I was expecting. It was wayyy better. I’m glad that I wore my North Face Shellista boots that were insulated and have a rubber bottom. The mud wasn’t a problem at all and it actually made the hike super fun. If I had been wearing my regular hiking boots then it may have been a mess, however, I just rinsed my boots off before I got back into the car and I was all set. It was foggy and there was still some snow on the trail. The snow mixed with the tall trees, greenery and the beautiful falls made for a magical hike. We brought our German Shepards and they loved it too. One is 12 and the other is 2 and they both did amazingly well. The suspension bridges are fun and the falls are gorgeous! Definitely recommend this hike!

Very muddy but trail is well marked and moderately easy. Trailhead has a very clean and warm bathroom and a very nice park ranger at the ranger station.

WalkingMuddy

The trail was muddy, but you could walk around. I wore Teva's and my feet stayed dry. The easy, but rooty, 1.5 miles out is worth it to see the falls. They are spectacular. Stairs going down to base of falls can be slippery.

most of it is more like a walk in the woods rather than a hike. The trail was very muddy though.

Beautiful trail, did see some dog poop though... but the falls made up for it.

One of my favorite trails. I do wish they'd cite people for not leashing their dogs.

HikingGreat!

It’s a very easy trail and the the falls and the cascades above the falls is beautiful. I noticed several trees down along the trail but nothing was blocking the trails. I plan to return to hike more of trails in the area.

Nice even hike without a lot of inclines. Stairs to the falls and a beautiful view! There are several cascades as well!
