great trail with a back country camp site about 6 miles in.
Decent trail with lots of ups and downs.
Easy hiking, fishing was slow, but many trees to set up a hammock and just relax:)
I liked the views of the lake. Wished it didn't get dark on me. Would like a shortcut trail along the way, bc once you commit to the long trail, that's it. Great job marking all the trails with pink ribbon, yellow hiking and orange arrow signs.
Thank you Winchester, Tn.
Great hike with lots of trails to explore. We didn't find the swing bridge, but the scenery was great. We were always close to the lake. This wasn't hard, but I wouldn't recommend it for small children, or those who have difficulty walking. There are several hills, small pathways, twists, turns, and lots of rocks and roots. We'll be back often.
Lovely hike. Swinging bridge. Easy enough for all levels and lots of great lake views.
Trail is very clean and the view looping around the lake is wonderful. Highly recommend.
Swinging bridges are on Lost Creek Overlook Trail which is only 1.3 miles point to point and is not included in the 12 miles of the Ray Branch Trail.
This trail is not demanding but the lake views and swinging bridges make it very enjoyable for an early spring hike.
Relatively new trail through the woods overlooking the lake. Lots of flowering trees in spring.
