Great hike...wish they allowed trail running but if without that...wonderful trail. Very well maintained!

Hiked many times. Always a beautiful and intimate experience with nature. A little muddy today.

Nice trail system but busy. Go early or when cooler out. This hike was done when it was about 40 degrees and after a day of rain and it was beautiful. The lake trail is nice but is the busiest. Both the garnier ridge and south cove loop are a little less traveled and were really nice with the downed leaves adding some color This recording is for the entire trail system.

Beautiful hike and always well maintained!!! Highly recommend for a good hike so close to the heart of Nashville.

We are visiting from out of town so first time exploring this area. Really beautiful, saw lots of deer and other wildlife. Would definitely recommend, well maintained. Didn’t seem overly busy as there is so much in this area to explore.

We really enjoyed this hike because it was cool last week. Lots of people out for a brisk walk. Lots of deer. The signage is a little annoying because it detracts from the natural feel but I guess due to its popularity they have to keep reminding people of things like “don’t touch the fawn“ - really? But a gem near downtown - don’t miss it this fall!

I like to do it twice for a great workout. There's a good mix of difficult uphill vs. flat trail.

Well maintained, but highly regulated. A park ranger was issuing citations for anyone breaking the rules INCLUDING trail running. Was lucky enough to have a couple stop me and give the heads up. If you're looking for an easy-moderate tail for a casual walk in the woods this will be fine for you.

Good training hike. Pretty boring, few overlooks, very regulated.

nice hike, not too easy, but not too hard. I went on a Saturday morning and by the time I was done the park was packed.

I love this hike to take family or new hikers. Tons of wildlife, great views of the lake. Good slight challenge with some elevation change. Very well maintained and conveniently near the city in a beautiful neighborhood.

This was my first time hiking in Tennessee and it was so gorgeous! Great weather, trails marked extremely well, and it wasn’t too busy. We went on a Saturday too. Loved every minute, we saw lots of wildlife like Turkeys, chipmunks, squirrels, a variety of birds and some turtles! And crazy looking mushrooms and foliage, it was a blast. 10/10 recommend.
