We’re not sure we were even on Pine Ridge Trail. A FS sign called Pine Ridge #99, and we hiked a steady climb for 3.5 miles. Crossed a creek, hugged the ridge, got absolutely cut up with sawbriars, and turned around at 4 miles. The trail is soft and spongy, easy on the feet, but the overgrown bushes were not really worth the effort.
