Fairly easy trail with spectacular views.

The road to get to the trail head is a little crazy, but if you're looking for an easy hike to an amazing view, this is it.
My girlfriend and I watched the solar eclipse from the peak and it was absolutely beautiful. There are multiple lookouts and plenty of shady places to set up a hammock. Definitely going down as one of my favorites.

Amazing hike through tunnels of rhododendron. Looks like there has been some controlled burning recently so there was a bit of char left over, but the wooded walk was still very pretty. Near the end of the hike there are numerous short side trails that take you out to the rocky ledges and overlooks. Absolute stunning views. Well worth the hike. Can't wait to go again in autumn.

The drive up the mountain to the Trailhead is more difficult than the actual hike . The view at the end is great!

It's been a while since I was there but remember it fondly. Easy hike for everyone. Great views south, east and Ridgepole mt. to the west. Don't miss the first overlook to the east. Its on a short side trail on the left. Pair it with the short hike to the tower on Albert mt. up the road for fantastic 360 degree views.
