Pretty good, even in the rain; the Alum Cave is a great place to rest and eat lunch.

Pretty nice starter trail for the first day of hiking. Nice and scenic the whole way. More crowded than I expected but overall a nice hike.

We loved this trail. We went on it with 5 kids ages ranging from 9 to 16. They all loved it.

Amazing trail! We got to the parking lot around 8 a.m. to find it nearly full, though we didn't see anybody coming back down on our way up. Lots more people making their way up as we went down, though, and overflow parking was going about a quarter mile down 441 when we got back to our car. The bottom half of the trail has a bunch of cool stream crossings and the Rock Arch before the incline picks up as you approach the bluffs, which give an incredible view.

Great trail! A creek runs beside the trail. The Rock Arch is fun to go through and then the cave is really cool!

Really fun trail! Definitely one of the most popular in the park. The parking lots fill up very early, but there was plenty of street parking. Hoping to do the full trail up to Le Conte next time!

We went on a Friday around noon. We were able to get the last parking spot but there were cars lined up and down the street for about 1/2 a mile. A ton of people coming down and not a lot of traffic going up so it was nice. It was raining for the first half so that might have been the reason for the mass exodus out of there. We consider ourselves to be “advanced beginner” hikers and found this trail and the one leading to the caves fairly easy. We did not go past the caves. The endless sound and views of the water was lovely. It was a Great hike. Warning to people who care-about 98% of people were not wearing masks and social distancing is not possible on this trail.

One of the most popular trails in the Smokies, and definitely worthwhile. Loved this hike following a beautiful cascading stream to start followed by spectacular views and the bluffs / caves. Easy to start and moderate the second half. We got there early to avoid the crowds.

Took my fiance here for her first ever hike. Really not the best for absolute beginners but the views are absolutely worth it.

That's a great trail, truly moderate with some gain of elevation and amazing landscapes. Recommend for all ages. Highly crowded and difficult for parking. Really not less than a mile of road with cars from both sides. The trail was totally full of people when I went there.
