Beautiful waterfall but short hike and a little crowded.

Great waterfall! Super short walk to the top and the bottom of the waterfall. Just really rocky on the way down. Also, there is a HUGE dog that actually belongs to the park. Nobody has ever mentioned him on here but it was a super cool experience!

Not sure this was hiking as much as monkeying over rocks to the pool. Perfect falls. Beautiful scenery.

I'm glad I got to see Ozone Falls today, as it truly is beautiful; however, I drove all the way from Nashville and was also expecting at least a short hike to get my heart rate up for a bit, but that didn't happen. Yes, climbing back up the rocks from the base of the falls did get me winded for a second, but my heart rate didn't even stay elevated long enough for my FitBit to register any exercise activity. So, I definitely do not recommend Ozone Falls if you're expecting to do some real hiking. I also do not think it's worth the 1.75-hour drive from Nashville, unless you're also planning to do some other things while you're in the area. All that being said, it is a gorgeous waterfall, and if I lived nearby, I'd probably visit Ozone Falls often just to admire the view.

Beautiful at the bottom and nice over looks at the top. Not much of a distance hike (only a few steps off the highway) but is semi technical on the way down due to the steep elevation and slippery (crab orchard) sand stone.
Nice little swimming hole at the bottom of you dare
