Very short walk but had to scramble over lots of rocks. Worth it if you're in the area.

Short and easy walk. Only takes a few minutes to walk. It's worth stopping if you're close by. Expect a lot of people on the weekends.

Great little hike for families. Hiked to bottom of falls with 6 year old and 8 year old, they had no problems and enjoyed climbing all the rocks. Also had a dog with us that blazed a trail with no issues. Had lunch behind the falls for a great little hike.

Beautiful and inspiring!

Falls were low ( not surprising since it's been dry) but both the top and bottom of falls were beautiful and fun to play in.

First off, the ozone falls is breathtaking! The recent "Jungle Book" live action movie was partly filmed here!
The hike however won't take more than 10 minutes to scramble to the bottom of the falls. It could be difficult for some, but for an average hiker there would be no difficulty. I recommend this trail for a stop on a road trip but because it is only about .25 miles of actual "hiking" I wouldn't plan your whole day around ozone falls. That being said I want to reiterate that Ozone Falls is beautiful and I would go again.

Beautiful, but definitely not 1.3 miles. Marked trails combine to about .25 miles. Easy to top of falls, but moderate to difficult to get to bottom.

The trail to the base of the falls is hard, not moderate. Need to scramble down rocks and I was definitely disappointed.

Short simple level ground stroll to the top of the falls. Short hike to the bottom of the falls. I would rate the lower hike as difficult because its all rocks/boulders, no level ground at all! Slipper rocks near the water otherwise you will have good footing on a dry day. I would go back after a couple days of rain. Unfortunately for us the falls were at a slow trickle but still pretty!

Very rocky on the lower "trail". Short and crowded but 100% WORTH IT. Wear a swimsuit under your clothes. Waterfall and swimming at the bottom. You'll wish u had if u didn't. CAREFUL: LOTS OF POISON IVY!!

Great waterfall! Super short walk to the top and the bottom of the waterfall. Just really rocky on the way down. Also, there is a HUGE dog that actually belongs to the park. Nobody has ever mentioned him on here but it was a super cool experience!

Scramble down some boulders to a beautiful waterfall and pond.

Not sure this was hiking as much as monkeying over rocks to the pool. Perfect falls. Beautiful scenery.

I'm glad I got to see Ozone Falls today, as it truly is beautiful; however, I drove all the way from Nashville and was also expecting at least a short hike to get my heart rate up for a bit, but that didn't happen. Yes, climbing back up the rocks from the base of the falls did get me winded for a second, but my heart rate didn't even stay elevated long enough for my FitBit to register any exercise activity. So, I definitely do not recommend Ozone Falls if you're expecting to do some real hiking. I also do not think it's worth the 1.75-hour drive from Nashville, unless you're also planning to do some other things while you're in the area. All that being said, it is a gorgeous waterfall, and if I lived nearby, I'd probably visit Ozone Falls often just to admire the view.

Beautiful at the bottom and nice over looks at the top. Not much of a distance hike (only a few steps off the highway) but is semi technical on the way down due to the steep elevation and slippery (crab orchard) sand stone.
Nice little swimming hole at the bottom of you dare

Always a beautiful setting regardless of the season. Not difficult & overall a short hike.

Easy to get to and one of the best waterfall views in East TN that I have seen so far
