Great trail. Walked to the Lily Bluff overlook before getting back on the Point Trail. The very beginning can have you questioning which path to take, as there are a lot of little off chutes. Basically just go straight down until you reach a wooden bridge and then it’s marked well the rest of the way. The last .25 mile or so has some good overlooks to walk out on with amazing views. Nice hike!

Had so much fun on this trail! A gorgeous day yet we only saw about 6 or so people. It has a lot of character with all the rock formations and not too difficult most of the way. A bit of rock scrambling in a couple parts.

Nice somewhat busy hike on a warm Memorial Day weekend. We took the previous suggestion to park in the second lot then walk out to the Lilly Bluff. It is a great scenic overlook and was the best view of the day. On the way back we headed down the Bridge Trail to see the waterfalls. From the trail it is only seen from above and at a distance but well worth the extra .4 miles round trip. We then returned to the main trail, which will take you to Point trail. Signs are clearly marked. Once you are on point trail however, it gets somewhat confusing as there are many little side trails (and no more signs). Head for the footbridge over the creek. After crossing the creek there is a fair amount of scrambling over big rocks and roots. We were happy to have our hiking poles along for stability. After this initial scrambling, it becomes a fairly flat trail with minor ups and downs but a significant amount of roots to maneuver. The trail becomes a nice walk in the woods. Some wildflowers were still in bloom, including the endangered Pink lady slippers. There is one small creek crossing, which can easily be done without getting wet. As you get towards the end of the trail there are many side trails. We took several to see great views of gorges, the mountains and the river. I would highly recommend doing so as the view from the point was rather unimpressive.

Really fun trail! So much to take in

I walked this trail with my dog today and liked it a lot. I was expecting a great view at the end, but it wasn't as good as what you get at the Lilly Bluff Overlook near the beginning. However, there are some short side trails you can take over the last half mile that lead to better overlooks. Recommendation: Park in the second lot farthest from Ridge Road. Walk out to the Lilly Bluff overlook first and on the way back head down the Bridge Trail until you get to a side trail that leads to a nice waterfall. Then come halfway back up and turn left onto a side trail that will take you over to the Point trail. You can follow that out to the point and then come back the entire Point trail to the parking lot. That will make it a 5 mile trip. If you still have some energy left, go down the Boulder Trail at the end of the parking lot to see the large boulders (about 1 mile round trip).

This is a great hike. The trail is in very good condition. There are a fair number of roots early on but the remainder of the trail is very comfortable. The overlooks provide great views of the Obed river. There are not any very steep altitude gains or decent. All in all, a very pleasant hike. Although it measures at 4 miles, easily done in under 90 mins

This is an outstanding trail with great views. It is moderate, overall, but there is a rocky climb near the beginning that might challenge some people. Most of the trail is up and down, but not severely so. There are rock outcroppings with "arches" toward the point. Highly recommended.

Beautiful hike. Great views. I can’t wait to check it out again later in spring when everything starts blooming. I would definitely recommend this to any hiker, inexperienced or not, looking for some time in nature.

Great trail and not at all difficult! Don’t be confused at the start as several trails branch off...they all lead to the bridge crossing. Take time to explore some of the side trails for great views of the river and waterfalls. Two arches near the 2 mile mark are worth a picture!

We hiked this one with our almost 7 year old and it was great. Challenging rock portion in the beginning with great views off the bluffs into the canyon.

Great moderate trail, we went after a rain and had beautiful waterfalls. Cool arch near the end. Great overlook at the end over the valley.

I saw several people on this trail on a Thursday in January. Sunny with blue skies after storms so still a little wet. Amazing rocks near the point and several nice viewpoints due to no leaves on trees.

I love this trail. Be careful on the rocks, however, as they are very slick this time of year. Wet, slippery leaves, higher than normal water crossings and a bit of mud today due to storms last night, but the trail is in good condition.

Really enjoy this hike. Great when bringing out of town guests. Fairly easy walk. Lots of great sites. Stop and have lunch at the halfway point. Lots of views while you sit and eat. Park near the bathrooms. Make sure you look for the "point trail" sign about three hundred yards into the woods. You will turn right.

Very lovely hike! Like some have already said, the map puts you at a further parking lot, so drive up a bit to the next lot for the trailhead. The hike to the ridge has a lot of interesting views and huge rocks. Once on the ridge, all the views are on short side trails so don't miss out! We used 98% Deet and still had bug trouble. Did pick up one tick as well. Not too much elevation, so it's a pretty easy hike. If you're in the area, it's worth the visit.

We hiked this trail over Labor Day Weekend and I must say it was one of my favorites ever! Beautiful scenery, peaceful setting, and not much traffic.

About a mile in, I encountered a black bear on the trail about 30 feet in front of me, so I had to turn back (we made eye contact and it climbed a couple feet up a tree next to the trail). Crazy experience! The mile I did up to the bear was great, very beautiful and a well-maintained trail. Will have to come back another time!

Trail is pretty boring the first bit. But the problem was it is so dry from no rain that there was no water in any of the creek, branches on the trail. But the overlook well worth it!

Awesome trail! Lots of areas to explore with great overlooks, waterfalls and lovely flowers! Trail is mostly wide, flat in some areas and rocky and steep in others. Overall moderate is an accurate description of this trail, definitely a must hike!
